How do I make a custom order?

Click the "Order Form" tab in our main menu and you'll find our order form. Be sure to double check all the info is correct before sending it in.

How many days in advance do you require for custom dessert orders?

We require at least 5 days’ notice for all custom dessert orders. Although, we do accept rush orders depending on availability. There is no rush fee, but availability is not guaranteed.

Full payment is due the same day your order is confirmed.

Where are you located?

Our Cottage Food Operation is based in Oceanside, CA 92054. To protect our privacy, we only disclose our address after an order has been placed and a deposit has been received.

Are desserts pickup only?

Yes. All custom desserts are pickup only in Oceanside, CA 92054. We do not offer delivery or shipping for desserts at this time.

Pickup dates and times are final once selected and cannot be changed.


Orders are available only during the selected 15-minute pickup window.

Late arrivals may incur a late fee.

Orders will not be held overnight unless previously arranged in writing.

Failure to pick up your order at the scheduled time results in forfeiture with no refund or credit issued.

Do you offer refunds or store credit ?

Here at Fueled by Flour, we take pride in everything we put out, but know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you are unhappy with what you purchased Fueled by Flour does not offer cash refunds.

All approved refunds are issued in the form of store credit only.

If you are dissatisfied with your order:

  • Notify us at pickup or within 24 hours.
  • The order must be returned in full (at least 90% uneaten) for evaluation.
  • Store credit is issued at Fueled by Flour’s discretion.

Do you offer gluten-free or dairy-free options?

At this time, we do not offer gluten-free or dairy-free options.

Fueled by Flour operates as a Cottage Food Operation and shares kitchen space where the major nine allergens may be present. Although we take measures to prevent cross-contamination, we use shared equipment for baking, and cannot guarantee that a particular item is entirely free of allergens.

We greatly encourage anyone with a serious or lethal allergy refrain from ordering due to the risk.

Can I purchase a single serving of a dessert?

We specialize in crafting bespoke (made to order) cakes and cupcakes available by the half dozen. Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate orders for single servings of any dessert.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept:

  • All major credit cards
  • Venmo
  • Klarna (Pay in 4 interest-free payments)

  • Shop Pay and Shop Pay Installments

We do not accept checks under any circumstances.

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit via Venmo to secure your order date or you can pay in 4 interest free installments using Klarna. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before pickup.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders may be cancelled up to 7 days before scheduled pickup.

The 50% deposit is non-refundable, regardless of reason.

Orders cancelled within 7 days of pickup will result in forfeiture of all payments.

Last-minute cancellations (less than 5 days) may incur additional fees to cover preparation costs.

Can you make exact copies of my inspo pics?

We do not copy exact designs. Inspiration photos are used for reference only.

By submitting inspiration photos, you grant Fueled by Flour creative license to interpret the theme and overall vibe through our artistic lens.

Final designs may vary slightly due to:

  • Artistic discretion
  • Structural requirements
  • Ingredient availability
  • Seasonal or supplier substitutions

All substitutions will maintain the integrity and overall aesthetic of your order.

Variations are not grounds for refunds.

Do you do fondant cakes?

We do not offer cakes covered or decorated in Fondant.

Do you offer tiered cakes?

Currently, we do not offer tiered cakes (A full-size cake stacked on top of another full-size cake). We only provide layered cakes ( a sheet of cake with a filling on top of another). Our layered cakes come in three layers.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, we ship nationwide within the United States.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. We offer free U.S. shipping on orders over $75.

Cart totals must meet or exceed $75 after discounts to qualify.

What if I enter the wrong shipping address?

Fueled by Flour is not responsible for incorrect address entries (including missing unit numbers).

Any return or reshipment fees are the responsibility of the customer.

What happens if my package is lost or damaged?

If your package arrives damaged:

For lost packages:

  • We recommend first contacting the shipping carrier directly.
  • Once marked delivered, Fueled by Flour is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If the package is officially declared lost in transit by the carrier, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis.
